I'm totally disagree with that sentence throuw by Gregg Doyel, a CBS Sport national columnist. You can read the article here. Is not so hard than the main title makes thing.
He's (Pau, of course) a fabulous passer (which even Gregg believes), he fits the triangle perfectly, he blocks his shots, he gets his points....he makes the Lakers from a 7th seed to possibly NBA champs. Pau might not be a top 4 PF (Garnett, Duncan, Dirk and maybe Stoudemire) but it's a star allright.
And all this is probed by Riley, Popovich and D'Antoni screamed reactions. But those arguments can be read on any page.
But yesterday Pau seems to want to give the reason to Doyel. I was watching the match between Spurs and Lakers and Gasol was as bad as the most of his teammates. It could be very hard to stop a top-class like Duncan, but i was thinking "this guy have ice milk instead of blood in his veins".
He seemed unwilling to take a rebound and he was afraid to attack the basket, just making some 4 meters shoots and a couple of hooks.
However, i trust Gasol. I think he's gonna shut up the Doyel's mouth and Pow his team to the final victory (4-1 for Lakers).
Let's go Pau, go for the NBA Ring!!!
